Tropical Island Movie Draft - Coaches Poll Results!!

I have at last received all 16 of your rankings and the seedings are finally set in their entirety. It was truly a fascinating experience, with many fluctuations to the after every few rankings I received. A clear favorite emerged in the very early results, only to fall as time went on and eventually be left out of the top 3. Extremely different voting patterns in the late tallies changed the face of the draft entirely, leading to a few shocking upsets.

In fact, each of the final 5 polls received changed the order either the first placer, second placer, third placer, or all there. Mid-way through the voting there was a clear top 3 that seemed unbeatable, but somehow in these final few votes, an entire other fourth drafter emerged and became the winner.

This draft was, however, less split than the music draft, with the majority (11) of the first place votes going to the top five. Also, while there was a very tight top 5, the bottom end of the draft is seperated by large amounts

I thought my pick for #1, Lowerherz, had it all along, but in the final tally a new winner emerged! Congratulations to Jerryaki on placing first overall in the Movie Draft Coaches Poll! But, don't celebrate yet, there's a long playoff to come . Full results and awards below. Forgive me if I go a tad overboard with the awards.

The smiley face at the end doesn't disguise the passive aggression in your post. I really don't see why we need to start this again.

For the record, however, during the my whole trade idea debacle, AleksandarN posted a quite obviously angry message in which it was very clear that he at least took this game with some seriousness. You can go check it out if you want.

I'm not saying its terrible to take the game seriously just I would advise someone not to. As far as how you exaggerated how much stats I put into this, for the "mean" number (there's only one of them), I just meant the average. Its the average score you can get and a number you have to find out when you are checking your tallies to make sure you haven't messed up somewhere. As far as derivatives...um, are you sure you know what a derivative is? There's not even a faint use of a derivative anywhere on the page and I would've had to plot the results out and try to find some logarithm to match them and that would have been ludicrous.

From the guy who did the "no-awards"? Maybe I should have just named them that to sound less demeaning. There are just fun facts and aren't suppose to pee anyone off, if people want them off, then I'm fine with that.

Interesting. Not only do I have the most 2nd place votes, I came in second in an award, as well.

As far as the largest spread, well, obviously some of you have no taste in movies. At least 6 people voted correctly.
