[Game] Trailblazers @ Kings - 2/2/12

This game feels like total fool's gold for the Kings right now. There's less ball movement and passing, bad defense and the closeness of the game relies on John Salmons making shots.

This is why I said what I said. If we win, it doesn't mean we played well, it means that the Blazers played worse than us. I just want to watch us play real basketball.

Considering everyone on here knows more about basketball than I do, so I'll just ask it. What do we need to do? Is it a coaching problem? Just youth? Talent? Frustrating to watch. Still, it's better than being a Laker fan, no matter how many championships they have.

I find it quite stupid to not rest Thornton yet, after he missed 4 games, and playing Outlaw ahead of Donte, or at all for that matter.

Damn, just got home and I swore I saw John Salmons with 10 pts already...CRAP he does! Please tell me Smart is SMART enough not to run the offense through him...and where the hell is Tyreke and DMC...looks like they're ghosts in the lineup now? Is Jimmer hurt??

That blazers run was fueled by Hicksons terrible defense leaving thomas open, then terrible man defense exploiting the other players

Well he didn't play well against GS, IT did, and seems to have jumped him in the rotation.

IT didn't play very well against GS. He made 3 threes when the Kings were way down but he played pretty bad for all but about 5 minutes. He did bring them back though.

He doesn't have to play well, just better than Jimmer

Dude, it's not just points. People say because Jimmer scored 5 at GS he played fine. You're pointing to IT's 3 pointers. There's a whole lot more to the game than points.

It's interesting that the Kings D got a lot better with Thornton off the court. It may be Cousins being back on the floor. Despite the size issue, IT & Reke seem to be the King's best defensive backcourt duo.
