Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Dallas, Cleveland, New Jersey and Sacramento being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Dallas, Cleveland, New Jersey and Sacramento had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Why would Dallas do it? Terry +1st for Artest.... puts a starting 5 as good as it gets in the leagues. Harris, Howard, Artest, Dirk, Damp/Diop --- good on both sides of the ball.
Why would NJ do it? Kidd wants extension or trade. Getting Terry and Hughes back would be very good talent, and actually allow for them to trade Carter or Jefferson for a big. I don't know where else they could get this kind of talent for an aging Kidd with a max contract.
Why would Cleveland do it? Adds Kidd to run with James, and allows them to find out what they have in Varejeo. Kidd, James, Big Z not a bad three with Varejeo's energy.
Why would Sacramento do it? Saves them some money, and they get two first rounders out of it to start the rebuilding process around Kevin Martin, Salmons, and Gooden.
Just a thought based on newspapers ideas that people want out, or this team should be in rebuilding mode. Who knows if any of these teams would actually do it.
here is a trade scenario I saw posted on a Mav's board.... would you do it from a King's perspective?
