They said on DLo and KC the rumor going around is the team is broken by the tanking. It will be interesting to see if this is a move to actually start winning or if they are going to do what we all expect

At this point, they need to turn things loose and build things up for a legit playoff run next year. Lottery positioning be damned. They have a core now (whether you like them or not). Need to build that winning culture.

I just think that by staying in Sacramento he damages his future career earnings. But hell if I made 50 million in a year I'd call it a day.
So are we intent on only trading for / signing players that no other teams wants now? After LaVine, Westbrook, the Kuminga offers, and perhaps now Morant this appears to be the overall rationale. Does the Kings front office know something that nobody else does?

The Clippers don't own their 1st round pick this year. They have zero reason to tank.
At this point, the franchise’s best and possibly only strategy to success might be to take a gamble on faded, rotten, unfulfilled superstars and praying for a prodigal-son comeback.
