[NBA] Trade Deadline Season 2026 Open Thread

Not gonna lie, I'd send off Zach as the salary piece along with Keon and Carter and a zillion picks and take my shot with:

Russ/Dennis
Deebo/Monk
Keegan/Nique
Giannis/Dylan
Domas/Max

I mean, could tinker around the edges there as well, but TAKE MY PICKS, TAKE ALL OF THEM

not for nothing, but if we said "Here's 3 SAC unprotected FRP", I think they snap-accept. I don't even think you'd have to include Keon or Carter. Essentially an expiring with LaVine and fully invested in one of the worst run franchises over the last 2 decades would be pretty hard to beat.

Potentially bad news for the Kings. Bucks without Giannis for the rest of the year are going to lose a ton of games. If they trade Giannis, they will likely trade Turner too
Luckily we have a 7.5 game cushion on them now. Even if they go 7-38 over their last 45 games, which would be futility in the highest form, they are still winning 25 games. We'd have to go 13-21 to even get to 25 wins. If anyone thinks we can go 13-21, I have a bridge to sell you...

Sure it’s just another team added to the not trying pile.

Should’ve just traded him to us as part of the Fox package last year

I would love to see the Kings take a stab at some of these players at the end of their rookie deals but that's the problem, they have to be paid and if it doesn't work then the Kings are right back in the saddle with possibly more immovable contracts. Unless Perry can clear some big deals at the deadline this gap year is definitely going to be minimum 2-3.

They'll want some type of prospect I would imagine unless Giannis gets to pick his spot because obviously then it's a non-starter. He would fight coming to Sacramento tooth and nail. This is the issue with how the Kings have handled Keon, Carter, and most of their young guys. Maybe if they blew up being a focus this is a possibility, showcasing 37 year old Russ, lol yeah, this is why that will always be a FAIL. Go highlight a trade package with that.

If Giannis ends up in New York id imagine it’s a three way trade with Blazers. Knicks get Giannis, Bucks get all their picks/swaps back from the Blazers and more draft capital from the Knicks and then the Blazers get OG and Kat.

Dame
Deni
OG
Kat
Clingan

OG is probably worth a Bane package by himself

Ya but those firsts were coming from a team that’s playoff bound the bucks 1sts have immense value. If I’m Portland I’m getting OG and Mikal back not one or the other it’s up to NYK if they are giving up both for Giannis

NYK: Giannis and Thanasis

Portland: OG and Bridges

Milwaukee: Grant, Williams, Yan and all there picks back

Works in the trade machine
