this is one of if not THE slowest trade deadlines in modern history. One trade this far into the season is bonkers
Giannis situation seems to be holding things up. Bucks aren't sure whether to fish or cut bait and until they figure it out, lots of teams are going to be keeping an eye on that situation.
Everybody's worried about there being no trades, but nobody's going to make a single move until they're definitely out on Giannis. It's going to be a while yet.

The Giannis drama is stale. It’s over in Milwaukee, he is a petulant child. Trade him and Turner to the Warriors for every asset they have. All the picks, all the swaps. Playoffs are insane, Milwaukee gets Kuminga, a big draft pick this year (their own) future picks and they can flip Jimmy at the deadline next year.

I mean...this shouldn't need to be (re)stated, especially if you've paid any sort of attention to any of my posts, but...Anything that gets us some additional draft capital is going to be a win in my book.
Yep, this has been the hold-up. Once he's dealt, the rest of the NBA can move on

Not only just with that trade too. Depending on where he gets moved, it could kick off a whole stretch run arms race around the league right before the deadline hits.

Potentially bad news for the Kings. Bucks without Giannis for the rest of the year are going to lose a ton of games. If they trade Giannis, they will likely trade Turner too

On the other hand, the Pels are probably throwing a huge party now that the Bucks pick might also end up in the lottery so they might be able to walk out of the draft with something at least.

So they’re trading the Hawks the better of their own/the Bucks pick this season. Their pick is probably top three but if the Bucks go full rebuild, that pick winds up a lottery pick as well

unless I’m mistaken the Bucks will get the least favorable of their own or the Pels pick.
