Trade: Christie for Mobley

This is being reported on The Bleacher Mob Forum as being mentioned in the NBA telecast going on right now. It was reported that a trade was in the works, and Mobley did not start the game.

Anybody here hear anything or have any scoop?

I also heard that on IGN. He said that Mobely will be traded tonight. He also said the Boston Globe said that they might trade Mobely for Christie.

That would be an awesome trade for the Kings.........maybe. We will gain offense but lose defense.
 
It would be an alright trade since Christie is struggling this season. I don't think Orlando would do it anyways. I'd love seeing Mobley in a Kings uniform but we'd be missing a huge piece of our defense.

NBA Insiders just reported that Cuttino Mobley decided not to play tonight because he heard a rumor about being traded...NO mention was made of Christie or anyone else for that matter.
 
If this is true, I no longer have blind faith and trust in Geoff Petrie. What little defense we had was primarily because of DC, who is pretty much the co-captain of the team this year.

I'm not that impressed with Mobley and I'm by no means sure he's what the Kings need to strengthen a defensive presence in any way, shape or form.

NBA-TV reported that Mobley wasn't playing because he heard a rumor he was going to be traded. Aside from Chad Ford, no one has mentioned the Kings OR Doug Christie. While it may well be true, there is nothing to confirm or deny it quite yet.

Im pretty happy if this deal goes down. Doug was going down... He wasn't playing well... But I loved his heart and dedication, and he always gave effort... No more laser passes to Peja... But no more sagging off of our 2 guard anymore!
 
Petrie will be on KHTK soon, Grant said... so if you get that radio station, might want to listen.
