Top 10 Reasons to Celebrate an Early Exit from the Playoffs:

Top 10 Reasons to Celebrate an Early Exit from the Playoffs:

10) Three words: “No more Barkley!”

9) Draft speculation: Who will be the next Sam Bowie?

8) That small, tiny hope that we may start healthy next year.

7) Your hearts need a rest from the “Cardiac Kings.”

6) Ridiculous trade threads.

5) No more commercials for TNT’s “The Closer.”

4) Law & Order Marathon anyone?

3) The loud crash of Jerome James’ stats crashing down to earth in Round 2.

2) Petrie the Magnificent now has his time to shine.

1) Made it further than the Lakers.

I'm no Letterman..... just thought I'd give it a whirl.

Glad to See ...

My sense of humor came back some time between falling asleep, after game #5 and waking up the next morning.

After all ... it is JUST A GAME.

So, I'd like to add to the list ...

No longer having to switch channels between CSI (LV & MIA), Seinfeld, The
Apprentice, American Idol, Pimp My Ride, Cribs, Everybody Loves Raymond and House Party.

I like 1 & 3. :D Maybe we should add to #2 that Petrie had time to get that "chest tightness" of the last few weeks checked out.

"1) Made it further than the Lakers."

Wow...1 playoff win...but the Lakers get a much higher pick!! ;)

(Pulling the positives from anywhere I can.)

yeah the Bryants really got it going on...

Is it just me or does it seem that laker fans always try to find a way to make fun of the kings, even when the lakers are probably at the lowest point of their entire nba legacy.

Like you said...the Lakers are down... and some Kings fans are STILL making fun of them.
Sorry but this year wasn't the lowest point.

oh gee. i think we really need to switch places here; I'm stuck in damn Lakertown, with all my friends Kings-haters, and youre loving the Fakers up in Sactown. That is NOT right.

It's just you.

Nice post, War Eagle King. Hopefully it won't get totally hijacked. Neither Kings fans NOR Lakers fans have much to celebrate right now. We're both sitting on the couch watching the rest of the playoffs...

I'd like to add another reason to celebrate an early exit:

NO REASON TO LISTEN TO BILL WALTON!!!

;)

94 was worse. As Buss said today, he didn't know when they'd ever pull out of that mess. Then he chuckled as he recounted our best player, Sedale Threatt.
