Tonight The Kings Will Win No Matter What

#33
Well, the Kings won last night. We are now tied with the Seattle Supersonics for third place in the West.

It looks like Steve Nash is still injured, so Phoenix is up Poop Creek without a paddle again. Manu Ginobili scored a half-million points against the Suns last night. Somebody needed to smack that Argentine wiseguy to the hardwood because he was clearly out of control. I also think it is good that the Spurs came from behind to beat the Suns. If we are very lucky, the Spurs may come into ARCO Arena overly confident.

I sure hope the real Kings show up tomorrow. I would like to see Greg Popovich have an aneurysm when the Spurs choke in the fourth quarter.

And yes, I had to use a spell-schecker for the word "aneurysm", which would appear to be nearly impossible for the average schlep like me to spell correctly.

Even though I hate the wolves, after the whole being tied with Seattle, I'm over there win, for once.

BTW quick dog, do you watch Red Vs. Blue? Something you said reminds me of that. :)

Red vs. Blue? Nope. I have no idea what it is. If it is not on Comcast Sports, FoxNews, or the History Channel, I probably haven't seen it.

I think the Kings-Spurs game will be broadcast on our Channel 10 at 6:00 PM. I think Ch 10 is ABC.

that Spurs-Suns game was the craziest thing ive seen all year...

the Suns need a bench...all five starters playing 40+ minutes is ridiculous...its one thing if its just a game or two but this has been happening all year long...and their is no way come the end of the season that they are gonna have enough steam to keep going through the playoffs...especially on the road....the Spurs never really gave up in the game...they stuck in their and hung around...and eventually got the win

Is it me or did Manu Ginoblli think he was playing for Argentina and this was the gold medal game...?? Good thing he showed up in this game cuz without him (and maybe Brent Barry's 2 3's in the last minute) this would of been the Suns the whole way through...i love Tony Parker and all but he was totally MIA...he looked uninterested (<--is that a word?) and "far away"...im glad that Pop sat him down he could of been a liability in there...and BU had a pretty solid game...the best rookie in the western conference IMHO....the Spurs lucked out though, cuz usually when TP has a stinker of a game they lose

But its amazing to me the influence that Nash has on this team...amazing!

The Sunday game is being carried by Comcast. 6 PM, with the pre-game show at 5:30.

The Thursday Spurs game is on TNT at 6:30 PM. The Friday game against Houston is listed as being on ESPN2 at 6:30 PM.

Good post!

I watched this game last night in AWE. With both teams running and gunning during most of the game, Phoenix's starters averaged 46 minutes each (OUCH!), and the Suns' bench contributed a grand total of 3 points in a very high scoring game.

I concur with the rest of the world, that at this pace the Suns are looking at either injury(ies) or just plain fatigue by the end of the season.

Heh -- love the way people are jsut blown away that a team could actually RUN for 48 minutes...I mean, who do they think they are? Professional athletes? ;)

Once upon a time nearly EVERY team played that way, and they didn't fall apart exhausted at the end of the season. Ths Suns are young, their starters really aren't paying any more minutes than our ours or Detroit's. Only guy there who I would be concerend about if I were them is Nash. He's not as young, and he has a history of wearing down as season's progress. That's not good when he's the key to your whole offense.
