Time for a draft poll. Who do you think?

My two requirements.

1: Be over 6'7.

2: Have your versatility apply ONLY to the PF/C positions.

Namewise, I pray Brandon Wright somehow falls, but there's pretty much no chance there, so I like one of the two other bigs in (preferably) Yi Jianlian or Spencer Hawes...Who doesn't thrill me, but he's a need.

The latest ESPN insider mock draft has Brandan Wright falling to the Kings at #10. I pray that someone has mercy on us and lets this happen!

I always get nervous when players start to drop in the mocks. I'm always suspicious that they have something wrong that their agents are hoping won't be revealed...

.... and leave us not forget who is our GM and the "predicticable" picks he makes. So far as I know every mock draft and every serious fan has come close to picking anyone GP has selected in the last 11 years. No one!!!

Remember Peja in 1996? We all wanted that slock from Syracuse, John something or other, who was out of the league in 2-3 years. Then Olivier Saint Jean from San Jose State in '97. Then JWill in '98 and no first rounder in 99. Then Turkoglu in 2000 followed by Gerald Wallace in '01, Dickau in 02 (at #30) and no picks at all in 2003. Then Martin, Cisco and Douby.

How many of us picked ANY of them?

So what ever the mocks say, history is against us. Will this year be the year the mocks get us one of the 5 in the poll??

Last 3 drafts some of the members of this board guessed who Petrie would pick.

Kingsgurl picked Martin, Bricklayer picked Garcia and nbrans picked Douby. Petrie is not as unpredictable as you think.

EDIT: and this draft has quite a few Petrie type players Yi, Hawes, Green, Law.... all of those fit the type of player that Petrie likes.

Well, you should never trust Chad Ford, but I will tell myself that if you put a million monkeys with a million keyboards in a room for a million years, beautiful poetry will eventually come out of it.

Ahhh, Bow, Bow and Bow......... The old timers of the board tend to do their homework. A lesson for you "youngsters"! But wonder how many of the other KingsFans picked those 3. I didn't and thought I'd done my homework. Oh well.

This year too much of a crapshoot with all the possible draft position trading. I'll put on my Jimmy Buffett shirt (It Must Be 5 o'clock Somewhere) and pop in to Margaritaville on the beach in Capitola Village to catch the draft. Hey, it WILL be 5 o'clock back east!!

I chose Hawes because of the wording of the question. I don't think the others will be available at the 10.

I hope its not Hawes. For some reason Hawes reminds me of a Brad Miller type of a player.

Well then you heard it here first... Joakim Noah will slip in this draft for some unknown insane reason, and the Kings will nab him with the 10th overall pick.

I made the Quincy pick last year too on RealGM. I still like that pick.

This year I think it'll be one of the Wrights. I hope for Brandon, but I think it will be Julian.
