Criticize her performance not her voice, no need for low blows.

I don't think we need a sideline reporter really.

Oh good grief. I cannot believe how some of you will come to the defense of this poor little lady.

She's an ON AIR commentator, not some innocent trapped by wolves in a cave. Her voice IS high pitched and tends to sound whiney. That's not a low blow; it's a fact.

Why didn't you step up and object when the males around here were making comments about her looks?

Sorry, but she's a disaster. Reminds me of the fiasco of Rupe the Hoop.

Okay, here's the thing. Kings, it is very hospitable of you to welcome the T-Pups to Sac and make them feel all warm and fuzzy. But, it is now time, Kings, to take over this game. About a 14-2 run would be nice. That would be a Kings 14-2 run.

Kings, you can start this now.

Why is criticizing her voice a low blow? She's a reporter and her job is to talk. If her voice is shrill (and it is), then she's not going to make an effective reporter. And she doesn't.

Fro the simple reason its like criticiszing ehr for being ugly -- bothing she can do about the voice. Incompetence? Sure. Voice, looks, weight (sometimes) etc.? didfferent breed of criticism. Not everybody gets to have a great voice. Not a choice.

But the point is she is in the wrong line of work then. That is a big part of what is horrible. You don't give a job as a courtside reporter, or a radio announcer, etc to someone who's voice does not fit the job. In this case, it is not a personal criticism as much as.........get a different kind of job, Angela.

If someone is hired as a model, is it okay to criticize how they look in the context of them being a model? I say yes.

Let's face it -- there are some jobs for which certain physical or tonal attributes are required to be effective at that job. And for reporters, having a pleasant voice is one of them.

I say criticizing a reporters voice in the context of their job is totally fair.

Angela Tsai may sound a bit amateurish, but i don't find anything wrong with her voice. Her voice is  feminine...I know...I know....it's a shock.

No her voice is not masculine like Kara lawson, it's ok for Angela to have a feminine voice. Sometimes when you try to project with a feminine voice yes it brings out the trilly tones.

So, in response to you VF21, no it's not a fact that her voice is bothersome, and annoying. It's an opinion. Just like my view is an opinion.

All in all she shouldn't care, and hopefully doesn't care about what anyone thinks besides the people who hired her, and the people who can fire her. That's the only person she has to make happy with her performance.

as for the Angela Tsai voice criticism....did you guys listen to Ric Bucher last night?
That guy is repulsive. He sounds like one of those guys who seem to think that the world revolves around them, like a slimy greaseball with that combover-like haircut

Wow, that's the most rebounds I've ever seen Brad Miller grab in succession all in one play. The sad thing is, we're still being outrebounded...at least the hustle is there.
