Jeff Roddy dies of heart attack


Friends and family shocked at news of his death

The unexpected death of city employee Jeff Roddy left those who love him in shock.


Roddy, 52, was at a Sacramento Kings game with friends Sunday night at Arco Arena when he had a heart attack.

Roddy took a friend's daughter and her friend to the game, according to close friend Jack Devine. The girls went to get ice-cream and when they returned they found Roddy unconscious. Roddy collapsed in the stands and surrounding attendees called security and medical aid and later he was transported to UC Davis Medical Center....
