This is definitely a long shot, but...

Would you forgive the Maloofs if they, collectively as a group (and yes that includes George), have a change of heart down the road, come back and fully commit themselves to Sacramento?

What I mean is, if they come back, announce via a press conference that they actually want to stay in Sacramento, and will work their asses off for the next couple of months (after the press conference) to see that the city gets either a brand new arena (preferable) or a renovated, and up to date PBP.

Would this cause everyone to change their minds and ease back on the hatred towards the brothers Maloof?????

I want a new building and 30 year lease. Don't care about the owners because either way the Maloofs won't be around long term.

They don't have the money to "Fully Commit" and their actions over the last few weeks have spoken much louder than anything they can say. In short a rat is a rat.

This is a fantasy land question since everything the Maloofs have done over the last few weeks has overwhelmingly demonstrated that they DON'T want to build an arena in Sacramento. And PBP will NOT be renovated.

I don't see how a press conference or the appearance of activity from them would change anyone's mind. All they'd have to do to make a new arena happen is go back to the original terms they (and the city) agreed to and actually pony up the money. That, combined with actually working to improve the team would make them good owners.

But at this point it is clear that (1) they either won't or can't make a reasonable deal for an arena and (2) have no interest in putting a better product on the floor based on George's comments.

At this point actions speak louder than words. It would take a lot more than the arena, which frankly was pretty much being handed to them in the first place, to get back in my good graces. I don't think they are up for the task.

I will tolerate the presence of the Maloofs if they sign an unbreakable 30-year lease for the Kings to play in Sacramento. That's it. Whether that's at PBP as it's falling into dust, or at a new facility built by the city without their help, or a new facility built by the city with their help. Doesn't matter.

As I said, tolerate. Even under that scenario I will hope beyond hope for a replacement ownership group.

I will never believe another word that comes out of their mouths ever.

First George needs to issue a public apoplogy to KJ for calling him a liar. Then, Joe needs to issue a public apology to KJ for saying they only held hands with him to keep him from being embarrased. Third, Gavin needs to come out and say that he has always been the proponent for the Kings staying in Sac but George is trying to run the team as a business instead of from his heart with the passion that Gavin has always displayed toward the team and city. And fourth, the female Maloofs need to come out and admit that they are behind the scenes pulling Georges strings because they love the limelight and fame and have been spending the money on plastic surgery and shoes. And then fifth and final, George needs to come out and say that he is no longer going to be a part of the day to day operations of the team and he is going to pursue his own endeavours apart from the Kings. And change his last name to Snakes. Then I'll come charging back.

So you're saying there's a chance...

They've already done that like three times. And reneged each time. Each time more gruesome.

Nothing they could say would undo the damages they have done. They would have to sell the team or sign the deal as negotiated in Orlando. Even then they would never fully regain any trust in my eyes.

would you give a skank ho that lied and cheated on you numerous times another chance to be in the relationship?

Based on your description, I don't think I would have given her a first chance! Reminds of a a story comedian Larry Miller told about breaking up with his girlfriend. He said she turned to him and said, "You'll never find another one like me" He responded saying "If I don't want you, why would I want someone just like you". Meaning, I'm done with the Maloof family. It doesn't matter what version shows up. Its all bad!

Sixth: George Maloof must cross to center court, present himself before a sold out crowd of Kings fans, put his head between his legs and kiss his own ...
