Thinking of a deceased Monarchs player

I was about to resume my project on researching and reporting on the present whereabouts of some former long-gone Monarchs players.

It suddenly dawned on me that I vaguely remember reading about an ex-Monarch player who died of an overdose several years ago. I think she was with the team for just one season, and she wasn't a starter or a major "name" player. It is sad, and her passing is probably still a mystery.



What was her name? Does anyone know about this person?

I believe it was Yasen? I can't remember her first name. She was on the 97 team. I have the team poster on she's on it.

Her name was Corissa... she appeared in 19 games for the 97 team. Her complete stats are on page 109 of the current media guide, and the 97 team pic is on pg 119.

Pharmacy student, eh? Makes me wonder what kind of mental or emotional problems Corrie Yasen had the night she died.
