Yeah, the guy barely avgs 3 boards a game, but he might be a serviceable back-up center to a team like Houston. I'd take a 2nd pick for him. Or package him w/ our 2nd pick and get a 1st round + expiring contract.

That doesn't sound that bad actually.. Surprisingly there are teams out there that have a high 1st round pick who basically give them away for nothing in order to save $$ in re: to the first round picks automatically getting a spot for 3 years.

The team get's wright (who is expiring), and a 2nd round pick which will fall at about #40 (who can be dumped in training camp if they don't work out), and we get a #25-#28 pick.. Not a bad idea!

Unless they bring back the 3rd draft round, I don't think we can get anything for Wright. His only value is as an expiring. Think "Potapenko II."
