My thoughts are that it is classy of Theus to call them out without naming them. They know who they are.

Moore should have been yanked early. Only two rebounds in nearly 30 minutes for a guy who is 7' tall. He didn't look like he wasn't playing hard, though. But he was just completely ineffective. And he missed at least 3 passes that he should have handled, which is par for the course with Mikki. The guy should be getting 10-12 minutes a game max. Please!
And Brad - I think he took just 3 shots and ended up with zero points.
I can't think of who Reggie might have been talking about - other than these two who played like doodoo.

Theus, the Brutal One
The Theus postgame was just BRUTAL! It was so brutally honest that I had to walk away from the TV before going back to hear the rest of it. He even said that it wasn't the Kings playing down to the level of the competition - it was the opposing team knowing that the Kings were "crappy" that made them play harder against the Kings... Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaoooooowwwsaaa!
The vets are mailing it in. They have no investment in this team. They are yesterday's news. It's a team that you made Petrie. Now it's time to dismantle it once and for all.
Everyone 25 and younger should play; everybody else should be traded.

I totally spaced out on this game & missed it, so all I've got to go on is numbers, but other than Beno or Kevin, it doesn't look like anyone on the roster made much of their PT. I have no way of knowing who was slacking off and who just stunk, but almost all of the active roster were sure doing some combination of the two. I wonder how many of them are asking themselves if they're part of the "couple"?

A starting 5 of Hawes, Sheldon, Salmons, Martin, and Beno sounds nice with garcia playin the 6th man role. Highly unlikely unless its the last game of the season tho.

This all may be well and true, but is it helpful for Theus to come out like this? It seems to me that Theus' job is to just keep the team reasonably competitive, play the youngsters, and avoid an all-out implosion. Outbursts like this (and whatever else is happening behind closed doors) seems to risk the kind of real implosion that could cause lasting damage, and for what? A few more wins and we still miss the playoffs?

"It's deflating as a team, but I think that we have some guys who want to play. And whoever wants to get out there and play - like Shelden (Williams) and Spencer (Hawes) played hard tonight. So whoever wants to get out there and play, just give it all you've got, and let's finish it out. ... I definitely agree with Reggie."

You had to be there to realize how poorly Miller and Moore played. Salmons did okay but made some dumb plays and I hate "dumb." We also thought Garcia played without much energy and that is the first time we have ever seen that. He did not seem focused. Anyway, the youngsters got a lot of playing time and that is a good thing. I wish the the players AND Theus would keep the team's problems in-house. Does Theus think calling them out publicly will help in any way? Everyone knew what was going on and he has asked several times for the players to keep team business in-house. Annie.

#1 - Theus did not call anyone specifically out publicly. He said, "a couple players..." So far this season he has kept virtually all calling out inside the locker room or behind the closed door of his office.
#2 - Garcia's energy or lack of it was because he was hobbling around with a bad wheel, but still trying to play through it.

I kinda agree with the sentiment here. BUT Brad Miller has been playing his *** off all year on nights when Ron goes 3-20 on night when Martin scores 5 points and doesn't move and he has really been the LONE constant out there each and everynight for the majority of the year. All of sudden Brad has a bad night in and the hammer comes down on him and he gets backlash from the coach and the player that has scored a number of his points from Brads great passing. I don't agree with Kevin backing up Theus comments and speaking of ppl not playing hard when even here in this very board we have had threads about the poor play of Kevin in recent weeks. I love Kevins game and he has been a spark to this organization and one of the main reasons alot of fans come out to watch but, I see a turning point in his attitude and if it doesn't come to a halt he will become a full blown prima-dona. Dear Kevin I impolre you do not go down this road.
If there are rumors of a locker room divided, generally with Ron vs. Theus, I think Kevin is backing the right pony. Many of us are looking for more leadership from Kevin, and I think him vocalizing it is actually a step in the right direction. This is different than complaining about not getting enough touches in a game.

It's pretty obvious who he was referring to, and Kevin IMO made it more obvious by saying "Shelden and Spencer were playing hard". Well who are they the back ups to? Brad and Mikki who both looked bored and unmotivated to play.

NBA players are Pro's. Professionals should not EVER pout like Miller does. His whining has gotten to outlandish proportions too.
I've loved Brad these year and agreed, until this last game, that he was having a career year and his best in the NBA. But he pouts too much, complains to the Ref's nearly every time and constantly whines. Whining and pouting so much gets on the Ref's nerves, any ref!! When you get a bad whining rap from so many refs they will NOT ever give you the benefit of the doubt.
Martin rarely complains at least so we fans see it and he gets to the line more than anyone in the league almost. But Brad is cooking his own goose and in the Wolves game carried the Giant Pout on top of that chip on both of his shoulders. A real pro wouldn't have a chip there in the first place and would play through poor calls or not getting the benefit.
He needs to do something as he is killing the team and they are struggling bad enough as it is.
