The Wrestling Thread~

The Usos had their solo runs fizzle out so poorly that they’re back to being Roman’s hype guys like it’s 2022 again.

Sure they’re just running the bloodline storyline back beat for beat but the difference is that Jacob is actually good at wrestling unlike his cousins. Let him beat Roman.

Is he? I mean, I'll stipulate that appears to have the missing ingredient that Jimmy and Jey appear not to, but I'm going to need you to put me on to the essential Jacob Fatu match?

That’s always been the issue with Fatu in WWE though. He’s never really had a chance to really put together matches since he’s either been feuding with random bloodline guys for a year or the last couple of months of feuding with Drew (their match at Wrestlemania was solid imo) but his indies run and MLW tenure have some ridiculous moments (largely featuring bumps rightfully not allowed in WWE)

I never asked you to limit your answer to WWE. I asked you what is an essential (read: "must watch") Jacob Fatu match?

Someone going to have to make a movie about how Tozawa somehow avoids the axe every single time cuts come around.

Jacob being the guy to bust out the Tongan Death Grip and not Haku’s sons honestly fits because Tonga Loa would somehow find a way to hurt himself doing it.

This product isn’t for me right now. Couldn’t be bothered to keep raw on for more than 10 seconds. Roman showed up and as soon as he was talking, I was out.

I'd say this fool needs to go up to the main roster to save the day...

I don't think he's the one.

Man probably thinks guys are actually unconscious while they wait for the Rock to drop the people’s elbow
I'm going to go the other way on this: I highkey agree with buddy from twitter. My first thought when I saw that move was, "That looks ****ing ridiculous." I mean, pretty much every move in professional wrestling requires some non-zero level of cooperation from the person taking the move, but there comes a point where willful suspension of disbelief flies out the window. There are a number of moves that go right up to the line... and then there's that. That move is so far past the line, it can't even see the line; the line is a dot to that move.

Also, my first impression of Lizzy Rain was she looks like someone who's been in suspended animation since the 80s... I'm only ninety percent sure I don't mean that as an insult.
