I could watch that thing over and over. So inspiring. Gets the warier spirit flowing. Done very well. I love that crazy guy yelling at the end to. Cracks me up everytime. I don't know about you, but I'm fired up.

I hope the Kings go into this first series with the underdog attitude. If they play SA everyone will be saying they don't have a chance etc. I want them to go into it with an attitude that they have nothing to lose. They are the X factor, the loose cannon. I hope they play with wild passion and intensity, and that when the smoke clears San Antonio will be sitting at home not knowing what hit them.

GO KINGS!!!

EDIT: It's been posted on the official Kings website!!!

The "band of brothers" theme started a couple of years ago. I'm very glad to see it revived and I actually think it's more appropriate right now than ever before.

I hope they post it on kings.com It's worth keeping and playing again... and again... and again!

:D

Maloof sports is the #1 sports organization HANDS DOWN!! We are lucky Kings fans, very very lucky.

We get pre and post game shows. Great production. And ownership that wants to win. GO KINGS and GO MALOOFS!

See that commercial?

the commercial for the Kings in the playoffs, they showed it on CSN....... they played it when the game was pretty much over. Man that commercial got me pumped up, I cant wait for the playoffs, got myself some playoff tickets i cant wait! I love the shots they had in it with the arco fireworks... I wish i could download that commercial somehow, BUT GO KINGS!

this has already been posted..but hey...why not

anyways.. has anyone found the commercial anywhere? im from the santa barbara area...so yea..im surrounded by lakers fans, so seeing anything kings down here is few and far between, this board is the only thing that keeps me sane

anyway..anyone got a link or anything?

I sent a query about this to the Kings. I'll let you know as soon as I receive a response...

:D

Assuming we are talking about the same thing (the promo that flashed all the players and their names, then "one team, one franchise (picture of a Arco during a game), one city (picture of the city) will come together and challenge the impossible" or something like that ) it was awesome and great work from the MSE staff. The game is replaying right now, and I could do "something" but it's bad (not to mention illegal) and I wouldn't participate in that kind of activity...:/

Actually, I'm not sure a promo falls under the NBA rules on copyright... I'm still waiting to hear back from MSE on the suggestion that they post the commercial on the Kings website. Hopefully they'll take the hint.

;)

I haven't seen it yet, and would like to. Please let me know if you find it somewhere.

And yay, verily...I pledge my troth to the quest... for the Holy Trail(er).

King Arthur: Go and tell your master that we have been charged by God with a sacred quest. If he will give us food and shelter for the night, he can join us in our quest for the Holy Trail(er).
French Soldier: Well, I'll ask him, but I don't think he will be very keen. Uh, he's already got one, you see.
King Arthur: What?
Sir Galahad: He said they've already got one!
King Arthur: Are you sure?
French Soldier: Oh yes, it's very nice!

:D

Okay, I still haven't heard anything back on whether or not they're going to post the clip on the website.

Personally, I think they're missing a bet by NOT doing it, but this isn't the first time I've disagreed with something the publicity people at Arco have either done or not done.

So, here's the deal:

I don't think the commercial is covered by NBA copyright laws. If someone has it and wants to upload it somewhere and post a link, I don't think there'd be any problem.

After all, it's a COMMERCIAL. They're running it to get people excited and tout their product - in this case the playoffs. I would think they'd be very enthused to have it viewed by all the Kings fans who frequent this board...

And if they have a problem with us having it, they can tell us to remove it.

:D

Good news: It's now posted so those of you out of the area can see it.

Bad news: (Yes, I'm going to whine) It requires broadband so I can't see it/save it/etc.

Seriously? If you haven't seen it and do have broadband, make sure you take the time to watch it. It's awesome, even after the little bump in the road today...
