The (Petrusev Era) dream has died

That was fast. We could sign Terence Davis, noted flamethrower, for a song and dance.

I still can’t believe nobody has picked up TD. Just shows how scarce space in the NBA really is. He’s feast or famine but many backup guards are just famine.

As for Petrusev, from what little we saw of him it seemed like his pathway to minutes in the NBA were limited. It would take awhile for him to find his footing in the league. It’s a shame he couldn’t even get through a quarter of his first NBA season before he was traded twice and ultimately waived before heading back to Europe.

Considering Sasha was a DNP-CD against the Wolves and is firmly behind Trey in the rotation, I wonder how much he’s wishing he could follow Filip back to Greece lol
I put that at zero chance. Sasha is clearly too much of a competitor to not want to succeed in the best league in the world. This was and will be the best opportunity he'll have for that. He'll have to earn his minutes anywhere in the league, and I think he'd prefer to earn them here. If he's as good as he wants to be, he'll find a way to get time.
