The Omri/Donte mystery solved - PW's revolutionary "structure"...

PW: I told him I was going to make a change in the starting line-up and he was fine with it. The way we’re structured is, that starter at that spot, if he doesn’t start, he goes from in the rotation to out of the rotation pretty much because Cisco is going to get most of his minutes at the three. It doesn’t mean that he won’t play, but if you’re tightening the rotation and you’re the third in line at a spot, you know it can go like that.

So you're either starting or out of the rotation? That's some pop psychology a high school coach uses to motivate his players. It's completely stupid at that level too.

Ugh I hope our coach really doesn't believe in this structure, but from watching the rotations it makes sense. I just don't get it Greene and Casspi are young and effective most of the time, just let these 2 play and let Garcia back up Evans. This is easily gonna be the most frustrating season for me as a Kings fan. I can deal with heartbreaking playoff losses or directionless teams full of a mix of vets who don't wanna play, but I can't deal with a young team like this who just wanna play with a legit game plan and to not be messed with. I haven't ever cared about coaching till now, PW is a seemingly nice guy I hate to see people get fired but damn just promote Mario Elie already.

Interesting strategy from the coach. I don't know what he thinks he will accomplish by doing this, but more power to him.
