Now some of this was probably because of injuries, getting guys in, looking at guys, but Rick played a bunch of guys the last two months. I also remember in that, he played the starters for the first qtr, then brought in a trio/some of the bench to play the 2nd, and went from there for the 2nd half. Also did that in the playoffs, but some of that was obviously from injuries, and I remember him saying a few times "I'm playing the guys who are doing well" or something like that.
Hopefully that rubs off over to this season to a degree. I'd like to see it.

He tends to stick with the proven vets and usually about an 8 man rotation if he can. He has been in some situations where he's been forced to play more guys, but I think it was more out of necessity, I don't think it can be considered a trend or a peak into the future. I hope I'm wrong on some level and the bench does get used more this year, but its hard to believe it with Rick in his 7th or 8th year with the team.

They know they're gonna get their minutes regardless of the effort they put in. They don't have to fight for anything out there. Their defense has been atrocious most of the time and they sometimes take entire seasons off, ala peja last year on offense (injury did play a part). This will just not do, Adelman got to take more of the approach that he did at the end of last year, if the starters are not putting in the effort on both offense and defense, bench them period. That's the Adelman I'd like to see.

Bibby/Hart/Price
Bonzi/Martin/Cisco and price plays like and OG
Peja/Corlis/Cisco/SAR/KT
SAR/KT/Skinner/Corlis/Sampson
Miller/Skinner/Sampson SAR in spots with KT at PF for a min or so
last year pre trades
Bibby/Injured Jackson/House
Christie/Evans/Barnes/Martin
Peja/Barnes
Webber/Songalia/Daniels
Miller/Songalia/Ostertag
I like our depth and starting rotation a good combo of vets and youngsters and players in their prime.

Ouch! I understand your coment was facious, but if I EVER see Corless playing center in a Kings Jersy agian I am going to hurel on the TV or the steps of ARCO!Warhawk said:SAR will not be playing center at all. No way, no how. Corliss would be plugged in there first.
Packt said:If Corliss is Peja's main backup, I see Martin and Garcia- whoever gets the nod- playing the majority of their minutes at off-guard. The system loves shooters, and if Garcia can shoot consistently from outside, he'll probably take that spot behind Peja. That frees up Martin to be Bonzi's back-up.
