The First Regular-Season Game

Since Comcast broadcasts ALL games, except those being coverd on the national level, I don't see a problem.

The confusion might be because the pocket schedule on kings.com showed the first game as Nov. 2 against Houston and the NO game at New Orleans on Friday, Nov. 4. Since they had to alter schedules because of Katrina, I think the TV information just might have been overlooked.

that game should be nationally televised.

i agree, if not just for the sake of the Kings' opener, but for all the fans of the Hornets in NO that need something to cheer for (even though their team will lose :D)

As far as we know, our local station is not going to be showing it down here. I hope that changes!!

Kind of off topic, but how is everyone holding out down there? Are things getting better?

Depends on the day. Things are settling into a new "normal." The red tape gets longer every day. The work ahead is huge, but we are going to be ok.

Last week, one of my new students (a New Orleans evacuee) got in trouble for talking in class. It was a VERY GOOD MOMENT! He was smiling and laughing, even when I had to tell him to pay attention.

Things will never be same, but we are working on it!

Thanks for asking. It always helps to know that we have not been forgotten.

I am officially changing my negative signature tonight.

The Kings finally got some "good news." Perhaps, I have simply been late in recognizing the good news. Our good news is the presence of a young, athletic, aggressive, rebounding, slashing, basketball team. The new players, and some of the old, will be fun to watch this year. It's beginning to feel like the days of Vlade, Jason and Chris. Again, I shall vainly hold-out for the mythical 12-man rotation.

Hurray for Adelman, Petrie, and the scouts.
