I just completed my first FF trade of the year ( pending objections ). So I decided to make this thread for any and all to talk about FF this year .. wether it be potential trade talk or who looks good / bad.

I'll start it off by throwing my trade out there and see what you guys think.

Right before kickoff last week, I signed Fred Taylor and Pierre Garcon .. I had some dead weight on my roster I figured I would sign these guys incase they had good games ( which was possible after looking at the matchups ) .. luckily they both played well.

All along I told myself I would trade these guys away, so today I made a deal that could be a steal if Taylor tails off like I expect him too and if Anthony Gonzales comes back healthy.

Fred Taylor and Pierre Garcon for Greg Jennings.

Before the season started, Jennings was pegged as a top WR, but he has been somewhat dissapointing. I figured he would be willing to move him and he was ( he needed a RB big time ) ..

The trade has 1 objection as of now, but with my 12 team league starting 2 WR, my Jennings/Roddy White combo has to be the best in the league going forward.

I like the trade. I think you did good capitalizing on the guy who gave up too early on a Low-end number 1 WR. The best part is that you are giving up nothing to get him. Taylor is old and he plays in a RB-by-committee and Garcon is o.k. but at best a number 3 WR.

So, thumbs up on this one!!

Just curious though, who are your RBs?

I had the second overall pick, took Turner .. I probly should have taken MJD, but I felt like the Jags are going to be forced to pass a lot because they'll be down early in a lot of games.

Then I have Mcfadden, Ward, and the surprising Julius Jones.

My league starts 2WR, 2RB, and 1 flex .. usually its been Turner,Jones, and Mcfadden with Roddy White and Devin Hester as my WR's, but now if I can pull this deal off, I think I have a real shot at winning this thing.

We'll have to wait till tomorrow though, 4 objections to a trade and it goes to the commish .. there are 3 objections as of right now.

Did that trade go through?

I just suffered my first loss of the year. I'm now 4-1. I probably wouldn't have lost if D'Angelo Williams, Chris Cooley and Josh Scobee didn't combine for a grand total of 3 (THREE!!! ) points.

But what can you do?

Right now my biggest weakness is Number 2 RB.
