The DJ at the Monarchs games

...The M's have had an on court MC since I wanna say 1999 (because that's as far back as I remember them having one) and the first person I remember was Tina Machua from KMAX 31. She went a few years and was replaced by Sandra Furlong, also of KMAX (and future Mrs Kozimor) and I believe Shawn Allen replaced her. Either that or they went a year without one because I'm pretty sure he's been here at least two years.

That got me wondering...

I seem to remember back in 2003, there was a female DJ who spun records and played songs before, after, and even during part of the game itself. I think her name was Sasha, and she was (or maybe still is) a Royal Court Dancer for the Kings games. During time-outs or intermissions, the jumbotron camera would be pointed at her and she would say something to the crowd. She was located in a corner, next to the Monarchs' team bench.

But I didn't see her at all during the games that I attended in the '04 or '05 seasons. Does anyone here still remember her? Is she still with the Maloof organization somehow?

Finally, does anybody know who currently spins the records over the PA system during Monarchs games? That must be a cool job!

I remember Sasha. She was really good. Back then during tthe time outs was lively and they had the Dance Camera. I hope they bring her back.

I agree with Purple Reign, I hope they bring Sasha back! :)

In the meantime, here is her bio:

But I find it strange that there is no mention of her being the DJ during the Monarchs games in '03 in her bio. I think the bio might be a couple years old, and hasn't been updated. Or is she still with the Kings' Royal Court Dance squad?
