Yep. Pacers have no business, on paper, hanging with OKC. Yet, thats what #sports are played. You dont win a series on paper.

They definitely got a "team of destiny" thing going on this post season run. I think OKC still wins, but its been fun to see them have like a 2010 Giants esq run this postseason

They do if Mathurin is this dude. Jefferson had a good point, they made the ECF without Mathurin. Having a player built for the postseason like he is if he is who he looks like he is, is going to make this whole thing entirely different. This is SGA's Kobe moment. He's in a very similar situation to Kobe post Shaq. The competition might not be as stiff but those Gasol teams still had way more experience and depth talent wise. This has to be SGA's superstar moment.

The Pacers are all business on the court. They lead the League in 3 point shooting, they run and they can play defense.
Its not how, its how many.

It's strange how the Thunder have the tools but are so against just fully committing to the switch. The Pacers are a bad matchup for them because they are the most legit 5 out team in bball right now and they can play full sized to boot. They spread that thing so far out it's borderline insane. So far when Chet has just come out and battled against the small the Pacers have been slowed down. Even Hartenstein did decent on the switch. The issue for the Thunder was PF when they went with Wiggins at PF which forced them to put Kenrich Williams in because the Pacers don't have to play small. The versatility of Siakam has really shown in these playoffs.

The Thunder defense falls apart too often. Wide open corners. If they don't start switching and stay home they'll be soon to be staying home for good. Unless the Pacers start missing wide open looks.

They're a tough matchup for any team
