When you have a team down, you have to step on the neck. Pacers let up from the close of third quarter and it bit them in their behind.

As they say, it's all in the adjustments. Carlisle needs to tell Siakam to dominate on the small next game. The Pacers have the tools to not play 100% 5 out ball so they can potentially make it work.

Thunder figured out the secret: the Pacers can't pull off a comeback win if they're leading for three quarters.

It's all about adjustments. Mark going with the double big lineup in the fourth discouraged the cutting and stopped their defense from collapsing. On offense, switching Nembhard off from Shai gave favorable matchups.

I don’t know about anybody else but I’m watching these games through the Kings fans lens. I kept saying to myself, the Pacers need to hold that lead in the first 5 minutes of the 4th and poof it was gone. Incredible game but I really feel for Pacers fans, I’m sure they started to think they had this one. Feel bad for Benn too although he wasn’t the reason they lost.

Pacers lost it at the end of the third and the momentum was creeping towards Thunder. Someone had to step up to push them through. Hali got them some open looks which they couldn't convert. Props to the Thunder for the end game adjustments on both offense and defense. They kept fighting with Caruso making some big plays to keep them in the game and their stars closed it out.

Yeah, you get a rep as a "defender" the refs let you get away with whatever you want. Watching Devin Carter play defense this year showcased this more than anything; he's a rook, so he doesn't get the "respect" of a Caruso/Dort/Smart etc.

Kinda sad that's the only way defenders actually get to play defense though. If the refs let them get away with it

This was the one they really had to get. Pacers were in total control and this would have absolutely been the gut punch. They had OKC on the ropes, They stole game 1, had them thoroughly beat in game 3 and looked very much ready to do it again tonight in game 4. But just missed opportunities let OKC back, Shai went MVP mode and now if the Thunder start playing to their potential again... going to be a tough hill to climb.

Better be on a winning team as well bulls fans are saying he didn’t get away with stuff like this with them

The Pacers had the Thunder down. What they didn't realize was that they hadn't quite delivered the knockout punch. And the Thunder just took advantage of that and got back up before the 10 count.
