Thanksgiving

It is now officially Thanksgiving week. If you would like to share something that you are particularly thankful for this year, please do.

It has been a rough year (especially economically) for a lot of people (including me). I am thankful that as rough as things have been, I've still been able to find a little to help someone who needs it more than I do.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I'm thankful for good friends, near and far, and for living in a small community that pulls together when times are tight to help those less fortunate. Our annual Thanksgiving community potluck almost didn't happen this year but when a few of us got the word out, the response was humbling. It will take place - for the 17th time - with more volunteers helping out than ever before.

I'm also thankful for good health and a wonderful family.

I'd like to add one more thing: I'm thankful that Jeremy has created this environment for us to all come together and share our mutual interest. And I'm thankful for all of you - those I agree with and those whose opinions and mine are as different as night and day.

I'd like to wish everyone a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING and a fervent hope that you're able to spend the holiday with those you cherish.

:)

I am thankful for my friends and family. I am thankful that I have a mother that is my best friend. I am thankful for a husband that cherishes me and for my two beautiful Daughters; Emily and Ashley!

I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Make sure to tell those dear to you how much they mean to you. :)

I'm most thankful for my family. Even in the darkest times, when it felt like I couldn't go any farther, my mother, brother and whole extended family are there with unconditional love and support.

Friendship is a special gift exchanged between two people. Friends are my chosen family. I have been fortunate.

I'm grateful for the people who put their lives at risk to protect my life and freedom. I'm grateful to live in a country where I am free to have my opinion and vote my conscience.

I'm grateful for the good health of myself and loved ones.

While modest by American standards, I live in a degree of comfort and wealth unimaginable to most of the world's people. I am thankful for opportunites to use my good fortune to help others.

I am thankful for fun, good cheer and being able to share them with others. So thank you Jeremy for kingfans.com and to all the fascinating variety of people who live herein and share their knowledge and point of view with me.

So thank you to all of you and to those here who live and breathe Kings basketball.....GO KINGS! :)

I'm thankful for three magnificent children. I'm thankful for a loving husband. I'm thankful for a house to live in, food in my stomach and clothes on my back. I'm thankful for loving supportive family and friends.

and best of all I'm thankful for the science of IVF. (see good news thread)

Aside from my beautiful family, the fact that I live in Tahoe and work at a Resort (ahhhh, the life) and that my wife is a professional massage therapist (:p), I am thankful that home prices are coming down so that soon I may be able to afford one.

I am about to go to a local charity and give out some meals to a few hungry folks down on their luck... HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! :)
