Thanks Quincy Douby!

Wish Quincy the best of luck here. I've been critical of him in the past, but when you're overloading your roster with young players to begin this all-out rebuilding process, youth just can't be an excuse anymore. I think some GM may pick him up with the idea that he was the 19th overall pick and that he might just need a new environment to harness any potential shooting ability+ defense combination, but anyway he'll get another chance in summer league.

He and Cassell were released to make room for the new guys from the trade.

Good luck to you, Quincy. Hopefully, someone will pick you up and you'll find that sweet shot again.

Does this mean a Sam Cassell appreciation thread? :p

As for Douby, he's got legitimate scoring talent. If he can learn to play within a team concept, then he can be a Jason Terry lite off the bench for someone.

Thank you Douby. If it weren't for you we would probably have drafted Rondo and wouldn't be able to choose between the Griffin/Rubio/Thabeet combo this season. So take that for what it's worth. Also, thank you for your one 20+ point outburst against the Warriors. That is all.

So I guess no Mikki and Quincy for McCants?

I'll always remember your explosize game against the Jazz. You'll be missed.

You seem like a very nice young man, Quincy. I wish you all the best and hope you can find your basketball niche somewhere.
