Jon Barry won't go back to Denver after being waived.

Let me just say, Thank you Jon for everything you've done. Especially for being the epitome of hustle and heart. The Bench Mob was the one of the most productive and likable benches in NBA history. Definately only stregnthened my love for the Kings and truely wished that we could've kept him and let him retire as a King.

Jon Barry was one of those guys you just couldn't help but like. His enthusiasm, his sportsmanship, his LOVE of the game of basketball and the obvious fact he was having fun all made him so unique and so special that we were very lucky to have him on our team. There aren't enough Jon Barry's in the world, IMHO, let alone in the NBA.

I hope he returns to Sacramento to retire, as he once said he would do. Regardless of where he goes, however, I wish he and his family peace, contentment and happiness.

He's definitely in my all-time favorite player Hall of Fame.

JB was one of my all time favorite KINGS. One of the reasons I started watching the game. I loved the hustle and the energy he brought to the floor everytime he stepped on it. You always knew something was going to happen. My favorite plays were when he would dive to the floor after the ball. Good luck to you Jon wherever you and yours may go.

Proudly wear Barry's jersey and have since he first played for the Kings. Takin' real good care of that jersey. He has a special place in the history of this organization.
