Say what you will, but Sam never disappointed us.

As a King, he

1. Never missed a freethrow. Perfect from the stripe.
2. Got every rebound that came his way. And that's both offensive and defensive, too!
3. Never missed a 3-pointer, nor a 2-pointer,nor a 4 pointer.
4. Got zero fouls for every game he played and zero technicals.
5. Never got beaten by the man he was defending. Like a Rock!
6. Was never embarrassed in front of an Arco crowd. Did you ever hear Sam booed as a King?
7. Was the fastest King on the court. Hey, if you blinked, you'd miss him!
8. Gave us everything we expected, and more! (*easily met MY expectations)

One more thing, you never saw him leave a practice early or roaming the sidelines in street clothes when the team needed him.

What a guy!

Are you kidding me? We must not have watched the same Sam Cassell. He didn't make any baskets, and didn't grab any rebounds. He never looked for open teammates, and at times, was not the vocal leader I thought he would be.

But hey, to each their own. In any case, I wish him well in his next stop.

Aaaannd, you've just captured the spirit of this message board. Nice!

If anyone wants to buy me an early birthday present, I'd love a Cassell Kings jersey with number $350,000
