Thank you Reggie!

I'm gonna miss Reggie. He was not even close to being the most talented player in the league. Probably wasn't ever even the most talented player on his team. But what he did with work ethic and attitude are downright inspirational. I look at Reggie Miller and I see a guy whose only real basketball gifts are his height and the PermaFreeze blood in his veins. Great player and a better person.

Garnett entered league 1 year prior to Kobe.
Well... so he did; I stand corrected. I was thinking when I wrote it that he hadn't been in quite that long, but I could have sworn that he was drafted the same season as Garnett.

And KG plays full bore every game. He's probably got an added season on that body. He should learn from Shaq how to BS his way into 10+ DNPs a year.

WOW I have been away for a few days. I didn’t even see this thread. Off-Season and working, haven't had time to visit as often.

Reggie is without a doubt one of my favorite players. Not only is he one the most clutch players of all time he did it all as a model citizen. Reg is a stand up guy and just watching what Larry did with the time out put chills up my spine. I hold Larry Brown in high regard also and I think Larry knew this was a special moment.

Reggie will be missed. I wish more players were like him and model his work ethic.

LOL! Shaq has that down to such an artform that he even takes off playoff games. (We're playing the Wizards? Ohh...My Leg...)
