I loved every minute of it. Thanks. Well. Not every minute, but you know what I mean.

Doug, I'll miss you the most. Wish you the best.
Webber, you frustrated me, and amazed me.
Bibby, good things are in store for you. Try to not play above your head
Bobby, glad to have you back
Vlade, you 'ol flopper you. I hope you work with the kings at some point
Evans, A little more consistancy and you'll be fine. Love your game
Cuttino, You can shoot the lights out. I'd love you to learn our offense
Skinner, Prove Allen wrong
Thomas, Keep playing like no one believes you're good
Peja, You're soft as butter, but you can put it in the hole like no one else(eww?!)
Corliss, I don't see you as a King, but I love your intensity. You're a man among boys
Darius, Learn to finish around the basket and you're a starter. Keep it up.
O-Tag, Hmm...Less Krispy Kremes
House, lookin good. Slow it down, you're going to make it
Daniels, sorry. Didn't notice you.
Martin, Please become the next Doug Christie. Please Please.

Umm... Good luck Jon Barry.

After the game, I went to start my homework, and after sitting in the study room for a few minutes staring at the wall it really hit me that the season was over. No more looking foward to the next Kings game, no more watching them on TV, no more following them play by play on NBA.com when their games weren't nationally televised. I am going to really miss Kings basketball for the next 4 months, but this should be a fun offseason, and I know next year we will be back.

season's over. :(

i hate TDOS. it's gonna be exciting this year, though, cause i expect a lot of changes.

thanks so much kings! you guys don't know how happy you've made me throughout the course of the year. so sad that i don't have kings games to look forward to anymore. oh well. i'm looking forward to training camp and seeing you guys again. :)

i will really miss the kings.

:sigh:

Well this rocky up and down rollercoaster season is finally over...I've been waiting for this for months now...maybe I can lead a stress free life...I laughed I cried I laughed again and cried a bit more...

Any you who the season is over we got knocked out of the first round of the POs as I expected (I'm very happy that I didn't convince myself of anything else) but the Kings still had a great admirable season...we fought and fought and fought somemore...not a lot of teams could of dealt with what we had to deal with and still made it to 50 wins or the POs for that matter...

I'm extremely proud of the Kings and I will always be...They've really made me proud to be a Kings fan (not that I always wasn't)...

So what will next year bring...?? who knows? Hopefully all good things, no midseason trades or prolonged injuries but who am I kidding its the Sacramento Kings and Finley will always have our number--Damn you Finley!

I've been lurking around the site a bit over the past hour or so and some of the threads are just a shame...plain and simply...the season is over and nothing is gonna bring it back folks...don't place blame on anybody...we had a nice solid season and everyone really should be happy with that...Everyone tried their best and sometimes thats all you can ask for...

I'm looking forward to the changes that will most likely occur during TDOS not only with the Kings but with the other NBA teams...Geoff Petrie will work his magic and we'll go into training camp with a team that push us to another PO appearance at the very least...I have confidence in that fact

In the spirit of the thread I just want to say...

Thank You Brad Miller
Thank You Cuttino Mobley
Thank You Peja Stojakovic
Thank You Brian Skinner
Thank You Kenny Thomas
Thank You Corliss Williamson
Thank You Maurice Evans
Thank You Darius Songaila
Thank You Greg Ostertag
Thank You Kevin Martin
Thank You Bobby Jackson
Thank You Eddie House
Thank You Erick Daniels

Thank You Mike Bibby (who without we would have been dead in the water a LONG time ago)

Special Thanks to...

Matt Barnes
Doug Christie
Chris Webber

They'll ALWAYS be Kings

Thank You Rick Adelman & Co. I believe you guys did a great job in a very very tough (coaching) season--congrats

Once again I just want to say great season and here's to next season :)

I'll miss everyone here at Kingsfans during TDOS (I don't usually stick around here then) and I will see everyone in October...have a great summer everyone!

Thank You!

GO KINGS!!!!

Thanks Kings for, literally, hours of entertainment this season! I'm glad that you went down fighting.

As the years go by, the details of each game will blur, and I will forget the broken legs, jammed thumbs, torn ligaments, blown goaltending calls, and, hopefully even the halftime jugglers (sorry - I can't let that go).

But here's what I *will* remember about this season for as long as I live:

Painting my daughter's face - a basketball on one cheek and a "10" on the other - before a game.
How incredibly nice Cuttino Mobley was to my kids when we met him, and how excited they were afterwards.
Showing my son the retired jerseys hanging from Arco's rafters for the first time.
My five year old daughter, with a big purple foam "Number One Fan" finger, screaming "DE-FENSE" as loud as she possibly could.

Funny how these are all "dad" memories.

Ah well. Have a good summer with your families. But first it's time to go by Corliss some nice baby gifts!

Kings, thank you, I couldn't have asked for a better season. The playoffs were as well exciting, and I don't know what I will do without you in the summer, but I'm sure it will come quickly. You didn't deserve to be eliminated but hey, the time will come for your title hopefully in 05-06'.

You are the most unselfish team in the league and I cannot wait until October to see your exciting game of basketball. Kings fan through thick and thin!

I generally will not revive a thread that's dropped off the front page, but I had to add my thanks to this...

Thank you, Sacramento Kings.

To those of you who may have played their last game in a Kings uniform, I'm glad you were able to be part of this great franchise for even a little while.

To those of you who are coming back next year, have some fun this summer. Work on your game when and if you get the chance, but bottom line - GET HEALTHY! We love you all.

To those who may come here in the next couple of months: You're joining a very special group of players. Give it everything you can and you'll never forget it.

I've said it numerous times before, and I have no problem in saying it now:

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!

Thank you Kings for such a good season. Through streaks and slides, buzzer-beaters and blowouts it's been fun. I guess now I can concentrate on planning my wedding for the next couple of months until the new season starts.

I just thought of something. Maybe this season was all a bad dream and we'll wake up and it will be 2002 again. And it will be just before game 7. And this time...

...

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

;)
