Terrence Williams signs camp deal with Pistons

Chill, we got Mitchell and Honeycutt, both proven young players in the league. Not to mention proven veterans in John Salmons, Garcia and Outlaw who we definitely know can hold down the SF spot.

I'm pretty sure you are being sarcastic but on this board I'm never totally sure.

Saw that he signed earlier today on twitter. Didn't upset me since we weren't going to sign him. Actually happy that someone is giving him a chance. The kid has talent, he just needs to find the right place where he fits. I was hoping it would be us, but alas, not to be. Good luck Terrence!

I hope he does well. I was a fan of his game before he came here and his time here only reinforced my view of him as a good player.

Pistons waived both Williams and PG Jonny Flynn today.

Williams sort of reminds me -- not as a player, but situation-wise -- of Ike Diogu. Remember a couple of years ago how Diogu had a couple of really good games at the end of the season, wasn't re-signed, and hasn't done anything since? Not saying I wish that on Williams or that it will happen to him, but ...

Still rather have him than outlaw or salmons.

The Kings should have amnestied Salmons and signed T-Will. Assuming another team would be tempted to get Salmons on the cheap, the end result is that T-Will can be had for practically free without taking a roster spot used by a player that actually contributes (Salmons isn't one).

I think if we had kept Twill we could afford to trade Tyreke because Twill pretty much brought the same dynamic but would have been more than happy to come off the bench.
