Terrence Jones:

bajaden

Hall of Famer
Since this is where I had my college basketball thread last year, I thought I would post this. I just happened across a preseason non counting game between Kentucky and Drexler. If you follow the draft and college basketball, then keep your eye on Terrence Jones of Kentucky. This kid has the WOW factor written all over him. I'm not sure of his postion just yet, but it won't matter. He simply does it all. Rebound, score, defend, and block shots. At 6'9" he had 6 blocked shots at the end of the third quarter, and if memory serves, he had 23 points and 10 boards.

They were obviously playing an inferior team, but you just had to take notice of this kid. Already I'm lusting....

Hoopmixtape has some mixes of him on youtube.

Thanks for the info. Whereas Kentucky will be on the tube around 20 times this season, I'm sure I'll have plenty of looks. I saw him play in some of the highschool games like McDonalds etc. But he looks like he's put on some muscle since then. College hoops is about to start. I won't be seeing as much of my wife... But absence makes the heart grow fonder.. I hope!

I am hoping if we finish high in the draft, we actually win it this year with the 1st pick and draft Harrison Barnes.

Reke, Harrison, DMC!

Sounds like the hyper-athletic guy I've been looking for. I'll check him out. It's getting to be that time of year again. I'm looking at guards, small forwards, and power forwards... The nice thing about Tyreke is that he can play with any type of guard in the backcourt; gives you that much more flexibility in the draft.

Now here's another Jones that sounds like the ticket. If you want to dream, dream big. Maybe this is the year we end up at #11 and get the 2nd pick in the draft...

I was going to mention Perry Jones. I've also seen him play in some of the all star highschool games and he looks like the real deal. Actually He and Terrence are somewhat similar players separated by a few inches in height. I can't wait to see Baylor play this year. They still have Dunn, who I also like, and if your looking at SG's you should certainly give him a look.
