Jerry Reynolds made a great point in his book. WTH was Horry doing on the 3 point line anyway? Your team is close but down 2 and they NEED a rebound. As a power forward, he shouldv'e been in the mix, and then Vlade wouldv'e batted it to no one, the Kings would have that shiny banner, and a new arena deal by now.

ditto...this is the crowning moment in my being a sports fan, and a Kings fan. I was watching it in the lobby of the IMAX theatre...when he hit the shot, I ripped my shirt off and ran up K Street in tears, went into the old Marilyns at 12th and K and partied with everyone there.

I was at the game with my Bibby jersey on and when he hit that shot, people started tearing at it to the point they almost ripped it. I had face paint on and stained the jersey from kissing it for like minute or so! Good memories! That shot should've won us that series. To tell you the truth though...I can barely remember a single detail about that game except for that shot. I think the game @ Dallas when Christie got hurt and came back to hit 2 big 3's to beat dallas in Game 3 was huge! Game 4 in Dallas the same...Bibby hits a big shot to force overtime and then clinches it in overtime with a drive past Finley and shot over Dirk. What about Game 3 in LA that year when we absolutely wiped the floor with the Lakers at the Staples Center. That's the only time I can remember the Kings really playing well at the Staples Center. Game 5 of '02 against Dallas was pure domination as well when we clinched the birth in the Conference Finals! What about Game 3 against Utah in 1999 when we put UTah on the ropes? All are possibilities.

For me, that's worse than watching a horror movie. I cover my eyes every time I see it. The same goes for the 8th inning of the Giants/Angels World Series Game 6. I can't watch anything to do with that game. 2002 was a tough year for me. My Kings and Giants blow their championship opportunities to SoCal Teams...I think I'm still recovering.

All right folks. If someone "quotes" that d*mn picture again, I'm gonna lose it and go postal in here. I hate when they show the clip on TV and I still can't bear to watch that game, because of the ending. I'm over it, but don't want to watch it.

If only Horry had the decency to go and try to get a rebound like a player his height should have with time winding down. He had no reason to be watching from the 3 point line, unless a psychic told him what was going to happen.
