“The Shot Heard Around the NBA”. After getting drilled by 30 points in their first taste of post season play, the Kings got off of the mat and shocked the Utah Jazz in their house. The key play in the contest was a Chris Webber forearm shiver into the head of John Stockton as he drove the lane early in the first quarter. It generated a boost of energy and enthusiasm that led the Kings to victory.

4. Sacramento 94, San Antonio 93
Game 3, 2006 Western Conference 1st Round

With 5 seconds left, and the Kings down to the Spurs 93-92, it look like the 3-0 stake was about to be pounded into the Kings heart. However the combination of Mike Bibby’s strip of Manu Ginobli and his ensuing pass which led to a streaking Kevin Martin lay in with the clock at 0:00 gave the Kings their most dramatic win in four years, and put them right back into the series against the San Antonio Spurs.
