TDOS Poll of the Day #2

I've noticed most people here mention pets. So the second poll of the day is to answer the eternal question...cats or dogs.

Outdoor cats are really easy to care for (indoor cats aren't worth the work), and Dogs are much for fun to play with. I have to say both

I'll confess - that's what gave me the idea for this particular poll.

I know its early but I'm the first to vote for dogs?

I've had both over the years and prefer a cat. That's one cat, since multiple cats won't be herded as they say. A cat is MUCH easier to care for. I travel a lot so I can just leave out large drop down container of dry food and it lasts weeks. Water, which I supply fresh daily when home is still everywhere as me and most homes nearby have pools. The cat does not seem to get depressed much when I'm away and just patiently hangs out in his territorially marked big backyard, along with brave enough birds, squirrels, etc. None of these things work as easily with a dog who requires so much more constant care and attention.

I voted both, because I really am a fan of dogs and cats. However, as much as I love them, I don't know that I'll ever be a dog owner. There are a few dog breeds that will always tempt me, but cats just fit my temperament a little better.
