TDOS Drafts? or did George feel they aren't in the best interests of kingsfans.com?

I'm sure that's the kind of thing we could work out, but under that scenario I'd imagine you'd get all pen names.

Whoa, now! You wants a romance novelist draft, you runs it yourself!

HEY! Wait a minute! YUCK! I was merely listing some genres. I DO NOT read romance novels. BLECH!

Now..Science Fiction authors..That's another story.

To me authors sounds like the way to go with the books draft. More competition, more chance people will have read soemthing from what you have drafted. Also introduces the volume over one high quality hit dynamic. Sitting alone on your island for eternity would you rather have 1 masterpiece book on the palm frond shelf to read forever? Or author B's 75 published works, across several different genres. But then again I thought artists worked better than albums for music, so I may have a bias.

I tend to agree with this - it was a good suggestion by Jalfa. I'm still up for running it if it happens.

I like the idea of an author's draft as well because it could also open up several categories that a book draft would not dabble in (poetry, screenplays, jokes, songs, graphic novels, etc.). This would be a much broader platform and include a very eclectic blend that would be a bit more enriching and engaging to the general public in this dreary time of being a King's fan. Count me in for the author's draft.

I'm already making my authors list :D

So, when are we getting the first TDOS Draft started? I can't remember - do we usually wait until The Finals are over?

How about this for a draft:

Superpowers/Superhero/Supervillain creation draft; you select a number (maybe 5 or 10) "Hero" powers (you have to use an existing hero to draft the power from) and draft the same number of "Villain" powers essentially making a Superhero and a Supervillain of your own... then we battle them; until the final, winner of the heros vs winner of the villains battle. Or, instead of a series of eliminatation hero vs. hero votes, do a league of drafts where each villain fights each hero. Best records of wins/losses goes into the final battle.
