Survivor - Exile Island

LOL yes ATX, still the best reality show around :) Survivor is one of the few I still watch.

The 4 tribe thing might end up being pretty cool. Very important for a tribe to come in to the merge with numbers. But then again the game can switch by two tribes forming the alliance.

i'm very excited for this one to start, stephame won't be on it! well knock on wood. 4 tribes will be intresting. i'll have to wait a week or 2 to see who i like.
 
Yep I am excited for this one to start. The four tribe thing could be very interesting, plus the one person getting exiled on an island all alone sounds like a good new twist as well.

Here's the deal. We have various threads for a lot of different shows. If you like the show, participate in the thread. If you don't, just move on. It's not about arguing the merits of the show; it's about those of us who really enjoy it being able to talk about it.

This could well be the most interesting bracketing of teams yet. When you think about the first couple of tribal councils, it could get very ugly very quickly.

Veryyyy interesting! I love the concept (plus the hidden idol on exile island too) - looks like a promising season. Not too crazy about the cast, though, but hopefully it'll pick up as the show progresses. :) I just wish they wouldn't shuffle up the tribes just yet, keep it with this setup a few more days or so. Unfortunately, doesn't look like that's gonna happen.
 
I think the sooner they combine into two tribes the better. I like the idea but I don't know if I like how they paired them up, not enough conflict :) I suspect they will combine fairly quick as in next week. The show is title breakdown so it leads me to believe that will be the case.

I like the exile Island and really like how... Misty??? Was on exile island and then already did a little strategy by trying to act like she found the idol. That move could bite her in the A. But.... I can see how it could save her from getting votes. If she continues to lead on like she has it then I think in the end its going get her voted off.

Courtney is no longer my pre-show pick. I did not know she was looney. For the ladies I kinda like Danielle and the men I am not sure yet. Didn't see enough of it. HEY and what happened to the TWO hour first show???? I need 2 hours! LOL



Another thing. Why is it that someone is always a go getter crazy worker. I think I would be like the young guys tribe. Just kicking back enjoying things, it always amazes me how people work like crazy in the camp.

Funny, after years of solo back packing I found the Idea of being left alone on an Island for a few days very inviting... too bad the poor woman had no real outside skills. When Jeff snidely remarked that she had watter but it was too bad she could not drink it with out boiling it and she did not have fire was hoping she would immediatly sit down and prove him wrong. Oh well.
 
I like Aras, Dan, and Terry. The girls, I don't know, no picks yet as of now. Pre-show, I picked Danielle, but I'll pass on that one for now.

Anyone have any thoughts about Jeff's clue regarding the idol? I'm guessing it's in a skull somewhere - they had been smashing the skulls to get the amulets and then what Jeff was saying something about fate leaving you behind - kinda applies to skulls... or am I not making any sense? LOL w/e. Ignore me. :D

How that group of women decided to vote out Tina instead of the "I'm afraid of leaves girl" is beyond me.

Step 1) Fill out application for reality T.V. show
Step 2) Show up for interview
Step 3) Get picked for said show
Step 4) Remind yourself of STUPID *** PHOBIAS to tell everyone in your tribe about
Step 5) Parlay STUPID *** PHOBIAS into 1 Million dollar prize

Do I get a vote? Cause I vote for the leaf girl. Maybe she and Master P can co-author a book on how to survive waaay longer than you should on a reality T.V. show.
 
I cannot believe they actually voted out the one who found the water, got the fire going, caught the fish and actually could weild the machete without it looking like self-mutilation.

Once again, the idiocy of some of the early votes astounds and amazes me...

This may finally be the season when Jeff snaps and actually slaps the crap out of a tribe for being too stupid to be allowed to continue.

Me too. Originally I was rooting for them, being one of them myself...but now, no way! They've got to be some of the dumbest ever in the game. I'll now switch my allegiance to the older men...until they do something as dumb. ;)

Hey here is something that I think is pretty cool. If you miss a show you can go to CBS.com 3 hours after that episode and download it for $1.99. They also have the survivor live show on Friday that you can watch for free at anytime.

No spoilers posted... they reveil something on the cbs survivor site about next weeks show.... Game is going to change, don't go there if ya don't want to know ahead of time.

Yah voting Tina out was the stupidest thing the older women could've done those first few days. That's why I was hoping to see more of this tribe setup (and put off the shuffling up of tribes into two) so we can see how the remaining three - esp. leaves girl Cirie - will cope.
 
Wasn't too happy with the second episode and especially didn't like what Aras did. I mean he's my fave among them and all, but that was not a good move.
 
HA i finally got to watch an episode. i don't know when i'll see the first one, but i did have a friend tape the 2nd.

shane is a real character. his detrox has made him even crazier then before. i hope he sticks it out, its really the best thing for him. if he can last a while, and stay off the cigarettes, the the whole experienc would be worth it IMO. even if he gets the boot, it's not like he can see his son, they still have to stay there to so there is no spoiler risks.

cirie is really funny! i like her, she probaly won't last long, but it would be nice to see her. the kung foo guy is chill as well. i;ve only seen one episode, but i'm starting to like it. once i get a better feel for everyone then i'll pick a fav. the guys are really hot! austin, aras, nick YUM YUM! aras is really hot! but a major moron, whatever. the astronaut is FREAKY looking!
 
Without revealing anything for people who have not seen it yet, I have to voice my disappointment at the immunity challenge. This is NOT what I expect of Survivor.
