mavs fought back....... and forced a 2nd ot.... damn i hate the mavs... why couldnt the kings fight for a ot.... losing in ot sounds so much better than blow out by the worse team in the league on opening night....

they won..... the mavs won.... the mavs beat the 2nd best team in the league and we lost to the 2nd worst.... the raptors areworse than the hornets.....

PHX played the role of Philly in their opener --- had a 17 point lead in the 4th and just couldn't hold it. Then couldn't hold a 5 point lead at the end of the 1st OT. Basketball is a much tougher game without Amare on your team.
On the other hand, surprised that the Mavs were down 17 at any point to this Suns team. Great comeback, but why were they in that position in the first place. Terry was super clutch down the stretch (other than missing free throws), and Dirk was his usual superman self by game's end (although he had a subpar first three and a half quarters).
