Suns Lakers... Who to root for?

You can either look at this as a win win situation or a lose lose situation. If the Suns win, the Lakers lose!!!!! If the Lakers win, the Suns lose!!! Or you can look at it like this... If the Suns win, the Suns retain the lead... If the Lakers win... The Lakers win... I personally don't quite yet know what my view is...

It's actually still a win/lose situation because if the Lakers win, we gain ground on the Suns but (we) still lose out cos the Lakers gain ground on us. On the other hand if the Lakers lose, then we seperate ourselves even from them even more but the Suns win and go up by half a game on us.

Lakers LOSE!

113-110.

My gut says the Suns are gonna be tough to oust from the top. They can outgun anyone on any given night. They're scary.

We'll reel in the Suns eventually -- they are on pace to win 69 games right now. They won't keep that up forever. Better to have the division get more defined and turn into a two-horse race.

These Nash-Suns are beginning to resemble the old late 80's/early-90s KJ-Suns. Score a lot. Win 50+ regular season games. Not have the defense or interior presence to get past the 2nd round of the playoffs. Funny how certain franchises seem to repeat the same patterns again and again (see Detroit).

In that regard, Amare Stoudemire is very, very similar to Antonio McDyess...hyper-athletic PF stuck playing center.

Suns win... Kobe another triple double... another loss... I love it...
mmmmmmmm....talk about poetic justice. how many of us have said kobe bryant could very easily lead the league in scoring this season (a feat he has yet to accomplish), but see the lakers miss the playoffs?! brings a tear to my eye...
