Just thinking of christmas around the corner and dreaming of how I would spend 11.78 million dollars that are coming off the books for the kings at the end of this season. What would you do with 11.78+ midlevel exception if your name was Geoffe Petrie (and or ended in Maloof)?

Corliss = 6.5 Million
Potapenko = 3.6 Million
Hart = 1.68 Million

$$$$ 11.78 Million Dollars of Free Money !!! $$$$

(I'm also confused...Is Ronnie Price a FA after this season too? Extend him plz...)

I think Ronnie may be a restricted FA. Also, can't we offer Kevin a contract extension this summer?

but we still over the cap and can't offer any body more than MLE

Good thing there is a pretty good list of MLE players next year. No superstars like they Lakers were planning for.

My wish is to get Marcus Camby in a Kings uni before the end of the 06-07 season. With Brad Miller healthy, and Camby starting at the 4 our team would be deadly. Camby would compliment Miller more so than any other player I could think of right now.

The good thing is we probally could get Camby relatively cheap. Expiring contracts, maybe Garcia, or a draft pick or two.

C - Miller
PF - Camby
SF - Artest
SG - Martin
PG - Bibby

The bench would be the issue, but we do have capable players if they are willing to accept the role. (SAR comes to mind as a stand up guy).

Um...not sure how that follows?

Starting center on a good team, keys their entire defense. You might be able to get him in theory because of all of their frontcourt guys, but it certainly wouldn't be cheap.

What the heck? WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO TRADE RON? That is insane. If he does something bad then maybe, but he hasn't yet and he is playing through back pains. He is the tru warier and the guys you mentioned(besides Darko) are freaking scrubs.

I'm totally behind you on this, I'd love Camby as our starting PF and SAR off the bench. Really our PF position is what's lacking since we traded away CWebb. Also with a domiant defensive Center (Vlade), Brad plays small and our starting PF in K9 at 6' 7" isn't helping and/or complementing Brad.

I'm also for bringing back CWebb is he is humble and plays for under $10M, he know he isn't the same player he was, but that's fine, he still does the things we need to win both on and off the court and should retire a King!
