Steve Francis

Try Stevie Franchise as the Kings OG?

  • Yes. But only if we swapped one of the core for him rather than giving up so many pieces.

Orlando will also have Grant Hill's mammoth $16+ mill coming off the books in 07.

I could see the Magic dropping max deals on Peja and Nene next summer if they trade Franchise, setting up the Kingsfans dream team (except in Florida) of...

Nene
Howard
Peja
Hedo
Nelson

Steve Francis can look as good as anyone in the league. Big ol' heart, too.

Would Orlando really ever get into a trading game with us again after we sent them damaged goods last year?

I can't believe what I'm reading. Francis is a major head case. You all are talking about cemistry, well that would IMO go right down the drain if steve francise were on the Kings. Sure he is talented, but he is a ball hog, the work pass is not in his vocabulary. This team is best when it is passing the ball. I for one hope that this deal does not happen. But then, that is just my opnion. If he is such a valuable piece to a team, then why did huston get rid of him?????

No. You acquire Francis, only if you are thinking of trading him (to say, New York, for say, whatever Isiah gives you to have the combo of Steph/Steve combo).

As a side note: Corliss playing the 5 is the best defencive thing that ever happened to him. He is only the 2nd person I have ever seen who bothered Shaq, alot. Like a little bug with good center of gravity, against a bulldozer, it seemed to work.

I agree with PIKSI. Bibby and Francis on the same team just wouldn't work. And Bibby's better at the Kings style of play and more acustomed to it than Francis will ever be.
