stackhouse sings Nat'l Anthem

Jerry Stackhouse sang the national anthem at the beginning of mavs vs. boston game...He didn't really sound that bad. At least he didn't sound like Carl Lewis when he sang at the Bulls game some years ago :)

OK, someone has to do a Photoshop picture of Brad and Tag in overalls, Tag with a stalk of wheat in his mouth, and Brad playing a banjo, in front of a barn.

HA! I memorized this song when I was a small child, it was the only part of the show I enjoyed, being forced to watch with my father. Anyone here younger than 40 know what show this is from?

Why was Stackhouse singing the National Anthem?

CWebb should sing at a Kings game..I heard he has a nice voice.
News10 asked Webb about singing the national anthem and he said he couldn't...especially in front of thousand of fans. They asked him if any of his teammates he thinks can sing it but he didn't name any.
They asked Brad and Brad said he thinks Bobby can do it. Brad said he couldn't sing it, the only reason he sung "Take me out to the ballgame" at the Cubs game was cause he was with friends and drinking...

I actually got to attend that game, and I thought that Stack did did a pretty gosh-darned great job in his rendition of the song. The man has a surprisingly good singing voice, and I can personally attest to the fact that the crowd greatly appreciated his performance. In fact, I really don't know if I've ever heard the crowd at the AA Center respond more positively to a national anthem performance, and the only times that I've seen the crowd response come close have occurred on some of the past nights when the Mavs honored vets during the pre-game period...
