South Park characters revisited

A while back we had a thread where members went to a South Park character building site, and created their own South Park characters.

The site has been redone and updated and there are now a LOT more options. So, once again, let's see YOUR South Park character!

And from PixelPusher, a tip on how to save your masterpiece:

If you don't have Photoshop (or some other 3rd party image editor), you can still press "Print Screen" (which copies the current image on your monitor into the windows "clipboard" memory) and then open up the "Paint" program that comes with Windows (Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories) and paste it, cut out the extra stuff in there, and then save as .jpg or .gif.

I'm assuming most people here are using a PC running some version of Windows, but I wouldn't be suprised if Macs came with some sort of basic image editor with their OS as well.

Once you've saved it to your computer, you can upload it to one of the image sites such as photobucket.com or post it here as an attachment.

I used "print screen" and then pasted it into PhotoShop...

I think there was another way, but I don't remember what it was.

I changed it a lot but for today here's mine.

I have a question while we're doing this, if you use photoshop, it saves the image as .psd, most programs (imageshack etc.) won't let you use that format. How do you do it?

.psd is the default setting, you have to do a "Save As", click on the drop down menu beneath the file name and choose .jpg (or .gif, or .bmp, or whatever)

Nice jersey, QF.

Come on, people. Bricklayer may need these in the future for another of his fantastic video creations. He NEEDS your help!

:)

Did you see this?

You should be able to do it.

...a couple of helpful links for people on this thread.

GIMP - the absolutely free alternative to Photoshop with a rather unfortunate acronym. An overview of how the interface works is here (don't worry about the german text you see in the images, you can download GIMP in several different languages).

It can do most of the same operations that Photoshop can, for those interested in doing more than simple "cut and paste" to your images. Be sure and download the Windows Version, which comes with the right installer.

also, just in case anyone on this thread hasn't posted pictures on this board before, you will need to get an free account with PhotoBucket (or a similar image hosting site), upload your pictures there, and then hyperlink them for this and other message boards.
