Something cool..

Just watching Outside The Lines on ESPN about "instant replay in baseball?". Because of last nights Angels/Sox game. When showing sports that do use it and as examples, it came to the basketball part, the narrator stopped talking, and it showed Bibby's bank buzzer-beating three against the Grizzlies at Arco w/ announcer calling, and then (narrator resumes) the ref checking the monitor. They showed another b-ball clip, but just a ref checking a monitor.

Just found that really cool they used that play. :)

what about when sumaki walker hit that 3 at the end of game 4 after the buzzer and it counted, or kobe throwing the bo at bibbys face in game 6? show those clips

I wish...you know, I dont have a problem with any of the fouls in that game 6 in 2002, but the one where Kobe's elbow was fouled by Bibby's face hitting it too hard...damn that hurt, and I still remember it like it was yesterday, unfortunately. Oh well, no title, no rings...hell, are we turning into the new Utah or Cleveland?? Getting almost to the promised land, only to be laughed at in the end.

haha, its funny how you all talk about the lakers and how they get favorable calls (which they do) but when bibby hit that bank 3 against the grizz, it shouldn't have been counted

remember...mike miller or someone tipped the ball after peja in bounded it to bibby and the clock didn't start. with so little time, the clock would've been out before bibby released the ball if the clock manager had been on top of it

glad he wasn't that night, though

I just think it was karma's way of repaying us for not only that blown call against Dallas, but also the even more preposterous one against Phoenix.

it only made up for one of those though...and it wasn't nearly as preposterous as the no-call against Pheonix (which angers me to think of still), so I guess it'd make up for Dampier's "block" of Mobley's layup against Dallas

That was Posey who tipped it.

On a side note, I hope he'll start at SF on the Heat, if not just for the better.

Outside The Lines was talking about should baseball use instant replay to review calls. At first I wondered why did they use that particular play, but then it shows perfectly how they use instant replay in basketball.

The difference is the Grizz game was in the regular season, so it hardly mattered. The Laker game six was the worst called game in history.

com on. get over that. it wasnt even close to being a goaltending. he blocked the living s%$# out of that ball.
