Get the wheeling and dealing going. That's got to be more exciting than what we have now..
 
I think the Bonzi injury is bad. My guess is we sign someone today so they can practice with the team tomorrow. Spreewell anyone???
 
If he would be willing to sign for the vets minimum (which he will not), then the Kings must make a trade for Ron Artest... We could take the name "Bad Boys" away from the 1980's Pistons.

what is Bonzi's injury? I missed the game last night, and I don't know what's going on with Bonzi?

Haven't heard anything since last night, but it was some sort of groin strain.

Yep, and looked pretty serious the way he fell down in the tunnel. We'll see -- Bonzi's a tough guy and can play through a lot of pain. But a groin is like a hamstring, lingers and can be injured worse if you push it. If its anything but very mild I could see us holding him out for a while just to make sure he doesn't come back too early, tear it, and then miss some considerable chunk of the season.
 
whos still out there? person is still available i think.... he'd be nice coming off the bench if we still had bonzi.... martin had his 1 good game of the month..... so go only knows how that will end up....

just riding the "hot hand" another thing Kings don't know how to do. also it does not help when a player finally make some shots and than he is taken out by the coach

As I've been saying (not as of late though with the trade talk), Person is indeed available and would help our bench scoring. He was solid for Denver last season, and can still go. I wouldn't mind him coming in at all, but I'd think signing FAs is second option.

The last 5 years have been great, but don't forget from 1985-1998 the Kings were not even a blimp on the NBA screen..Kings have sunked back in to dismal and probably won't resurface this year.
 
Petrie BETTER be shopping Peja around.

There is games, like in Charlotte, where it's not even worth giving him the ball. I cringe, (just like I cringe whenever Jason Hart gets the ball) every single time Peja goes for a shot.


Man......2 or 3 years ago, it was automatic.

I do not believe that it is that bad agian. Obviously we are not going to be very good this year, but I just don't see us that low again right now. (maybe I just can't ADMIT it)

Anyway, I still have faith that we are going to improve. Not championship worthy, but much better than we are now. I am even going to predict 44 wins. It could happen.

It certainly wasn't worse than Pejas hand injury that kept him out for 3 games. bonzi will be back in 3...if not sooner.

Pulled groins are no joke. Guys can lose half a season with that injury.
