Sixers @ Kings Game Thread

You know Kevin has really improved and he's awesome for hustle and from the inside. But, his position is a SHOOTING guard, and his outside shot, the form is not very good. His shot just doesn't look good from the very start

We have two offensive options. Brad & Mike. Neither can score inside and Mike is completely off.

Just too one-dimensional. Hopefully Brad keeps hitting his shot and plays all of the second half :)

We started 2nd quarter on a 12-0 run and then Sixers went on a 27-9 run

We shoot 35 %

Bench scoring 6-2 Sixers

What a meltdown after being up 14 and the crowd going nuts. Guess this team doesn't feed off of that positive energy anymore. Too bad.

Wow. That's pretty cold.

It wasn't the TEAM that made some of those weird substitutions. As much as I personally respect Rick Adelman, it seemed as though he went nuts there for a few minutes and pretty much took the wind out of the team sails.

The Kings WERE feeding off the energy until that happened, IMHO.

Agree. I honestly wasn't expecting to see Peja back until last few minutes (if at all) of the second half.

And can somebody teach Hart how to shoot FTs?!! It's not like he is contibuting much more elsewhere (well tonight he is assisting ok, but still...)

bibby now 1/10

we are not going to win if bibby continues to miss.

just can't make a shot right now and no defense for the kings

come on guys! pick it up!

go kings!

From the PBP:

Martin out; Peja in.

Grant says AI's ankle is really hurting him.

Peja for two.

40-28 KINGS

...

Miller taking a break to a standing ovation. Hart, Peja, Garcia, KT and Corliss on the court.

Korver lay-up for two.

40-30 KINGS

KT inside to Peja, who is slammed but no call. Airball. Sixers get it.

Webber on the other end for two off headfake that really fools KT.

40-32 KINGS
...

Sloppy possession, with Peja passing up a wide open lay-up and Kings eventually taking bad shot and missing. Sixers ball.

Korver for three.

40-35 KINGS

...
41-38 Kings

Bibby miss; Sixers board.

AI for two.
41-40 KINGS
...

Peja in + Miller out = 10 pt lead down the crapper.

Yeah it's a bit cold, but it's how I felt. No idea why Rick put Corliss on Webber instead of Skinner etc etc.

Big Kings run, big deal if they can't maintain it and worse let the visiting team go off on a bigger run. That was my main point. The TEAM looked out of sorts after that big lead and the time out.

Anyway, the first half is history, so I hope we can pull this one out and give the fans something to cheer about by the end.;)
