Signs of improvement to look for now that Wesphal if gone, what do you want to see?

* DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE.
* Passing= assists.
* No ill advised shots: being double teamed and putting up a brick.
* More touches for DMC/more points from the paint.
* Salmons playing less. :D

Wow, we have some bold new fans on this forum. Jimmer will be good no doubt. Better than Cousins or Tyreke? I don't think so. And lets not forget Jimmer is older than Tyreke, so easy on the "Jimmer is so much better" comparisons, its foolishness and just not true, though I do think he should start as PG immediately. Right now he looks lost out there and has turned it over too much, but it is clear he has a strong desire to figure it out asap, and will do it with more playing time.

As for OP, I expect to see a bit better than usual offense, essentially the same selfish style for a good bit, but MUCH more effort. If the players come out tonight with a fiery passion, then we know for sure it was the coach that was the major problem. I'm confident we will win tonight, because I trust that when Tyreke hints at the coach being the prob, then thats whats goin on.

If the team goes to a real offensive system, what I am curious to see is a change in Thornton. He has been by far the most selfish player so far this year and has gotten away with it by having a couple of good nights. Overall, he seems to be the first guy to go away from what's working or just decide to "get his" before bothering with anyone else. Can the team bring him back to being a functioning shooter in the offense?

He's taken a bad shot here and there. But i think for the most part he was playing his role as a scorer. He's a willing passer and has shown that he can get his teammates involved. I wouldn't call him a selfish player, but at times he'll take it upon himself to make a basket when nothing's working. He still manages to stretch the defense and spot up at the 3 point line when he doesn't have the ball, which has been fairly sucessful i would say.
