Cousins would have to beat on the entire team, take a leak on the big 6 statue at PBP, wipe his *** with a Kings jersey, and take a hostage before I'd trade him for Lopez.

I think Petrie might take Lopez but he'd want another decent player on Nets roster and/or high draft pick for Cuz. But maybe with all the baggage not happening.

We can come back to this if they dont land howard but for now i aint moving him. If this keeps spirling downwards then Lopez another solid player and a first rounder. Id want to rid a contract also - salmons

Lopez averaged 20 and 7 last year. Boogie is by far a better rebounder and seems to have taken a turn for the better on the defensive end this season.

You know what your getting with Lopez whereas Boogie has a long ways to go to even start scratching the surface of reaching his potential and unless things get real bad we aint moving him.

Agreed...but what is it going to take for him to be happy here and bring fire and eventual leadership night in and night out?? Who do our players, Cousins included, want as their coach?? If the situation doesn't change one way or another...coaching change, better attitude, etc...then I'd totally unload him for a player like Lopez...at least he brings the fire and plays aggressive every game, and doesn't seem to be a cancer in the locker room.

All true. The issue is though we've seen tyrekes limitations of late and apart of that is the system but also a part of that is tyrekes fault. Im begining to question how good the kid really is and how far he cant take us. Im a huge reke fan but its hard not to. Us kings fans are quite an insecure bunch all in all.

The fact is we need Boogie to harness his talent and have no other choice having to gamble with him and hope he can become the offensive force we see glimpses of because its the only way we might be able to get back to the top. We need to do all we can to keep him here and put him in an environment where he can grow and prosper. PW needs to go and we really need to get it right this time around.

Lopez is solid and will give you consistency nightly and get you qualifying for the postseason but Boogie can, if the stars align, take you all the way to the end.
